Grilled Vegetables

Thursday, July 05, 2012

Oh My Goodness, the grilled veggies were the talk of the grill. I grilled potatoes, onions, brocolli and sweet baby bell peppers. I marinated the veggies in olive oil, garlic pepper and rosemary. I put the potatoes on the grill first, when they were close to tender I added the brocolli florets, onions, and sweet baby bells. My brother and sister said it reminded them of dad throwing everything on the grill. The children who are now 25 and above said they are going to grill vegetables at their next cookout. The burgers and brats went pretty fast right off the grill. My sister actually had to take some of her potato salad home, this has never happened before. The lemonade, tea and water was just right. The fireworks display lasted about three hours this year. I was so tired that I showered and went straight to bed.
