All the Random EVER!

After blogging about my bad time this week - I started going out and having a better day. It went ... something like this:
Woke Josh up - went out for breakfast (Because how dare I just eat cereal or toast at the house! It's a day off!). So we went to Bob Evans and I actually ate a healthy meal that was exactly what I was wanting! Turkey Sausage, Multi-Grain hotcakes with sugar free syrup and a fruit dish! :)
Then we parked down by the Theater and walked through the Centre a bit - all in all about 45-50 minutes, and looked at kitties at the Petsmart, then books at Hastings (SOOO Overpriced!! The Sparkpeople Cookbook was marked up twice the retail or for what I could get on Amazon! I was shocked!), then we came back up - got our tickets and concessions and watched - - THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN.
I may have mentioned before that my BF and I are total geeks and all... right?
Movie was great - we had a blast and then we went by the Meijer and picked up a few last minute things then HOME. In which we relaxed -- I put together our new grill - - then got frustrated again.
It was comedy folks.
I apparently can't get a grill to light. Eventually I said forget it and pulled out the ol'George Foreman - put our Turkey Burgers on THAT (drained the grease! haha!!) and enjoyed a nice light dinner of burgers with (gasp) some chips (which I was able to hold back on!).
Then I fell asleep on the couch (uncomfortably so!) watching Josh play Lego Batman 2.
Around 11:30ish/Midnite-ish, I got up, decided it was time to go to bed and DID so. :)
But I felt much better about how I was doing - what my choices were that day - it was a great way to just refresh and restart. I've decided that if I have gained a pound on Sunday - so what?
I've got from that point on to get it off, get it's little friends off - and feel comfort in the knowledge that I'm eating better, feeling better and being MUCH more active than I used to be. :)

Good attitude to the healthy lifestyle, don't get hung up over weight as long as you're eating healthy and reaching most of your targets...keep up the good work emoticon

I'm so glad you day was better. It's not how we feel..it is how we handle those feelings. You did a great job.
PS...I bet my husband and I are bigger geeks than both of you:)
