Sugar blog no 2: trigger. Also, missing Zombie challenges.

Thursday, July 05, 2012

Well, I figured out a trigger. Sugar simply being in front of me. Seriously, there was a plate of chocolate biscuits in the English Office yesterday and I could not let it be! I don't know how many I had, but it was a lot. Like, once I had one, I couldn't stop. I had breaking the speed limit syndome.

The only thing that made me feel slightly better, was the fact that I went to the gym afterwards. I did a lot of work on my arms and I can really feel it today! Hopefully the Zombie Apocolyspe group will get restarted again and I can incorporate my gym time into it.

    Hi lady,

Of course I will start the team back up. I was ill this past week and got lazy, I apologize. I will post a new challenge on Sunday. I sent you a message earlier. I have to run the sitter is coming and I have more house work to finish before she gets here. I would be honored if you would consider being the team coleader. Let me know what you would like to do.

There should only be tea & crumpets in the English office - problem solved.

I know what you mean though. *Normally*, I have enough self control to ignore all sweets - except gummy bears. Once in a while I'll cave in... and eat every sweet I can find. I'm not sure why it happens, but no Special Dark bar or box of Captain Crunch is safe. Normally I log my foods; on those days I do not log my foods. I move on.

Sugar is addictive for sure. ... God only knows what else is in processed foods. Hopefully they were homemade. Good for you though going to work it out at the gym. However, I have learned that all that exercise will not overcome a bad diet.
Better to control (when possible) what you put in your body. Learn how your body works and pay attention to it. It will pay you back in dividends!!! Best wishes!!! emoticon
