There's so much that can be said about today. What you makes America a great place to live. Why living here gives you the right to say what you want when you want & how you want. How this day gives you the right to love what you love, who you love & how you love. How this day gives you the right to dream what you want & how you want. How this day gives you the right to eat want you want, like the ribs, patotoe mac salad, stuffing & fresh baked cake I have ready for today. But yet a lot of people forget about the true meaning of today. Today is the only day in American history we stop or we should stop to think about the men & woman who gave or are giving their live in serving in the military. They served & gave their life for our freedom, but yet very few get told 2 very small but simple words. "Thank You." Or if they do get told that, they are so humble they turn around & tell you "Thank You." I am so greatful not only to be living in a free world where I can do, say & eat what I want. But am greatful to have lived with in a military family. Am proud of the serve my late father Raymond did, the serve my aging Uncle ALbert did & my 4 brothers who are still serving. So if you haven't done it yet, hug or shake the hand of a VET & tell him "Thank You." I did & will say it everyday, cause we should say it everyday.
