I just came across this article reminding me why eating a rainbow of colors is a healthy choice.It is pretty straightforward in terms of listing fruits and veggies that fit into each color and giving the specific nutritional benefit. Of course, I have been well aware of the benefits having read numerous SPARK articles and blogs, but it is always good to be reminded.
Summer is certainly the ideal time to eat the red, white, and blue - tomatoes, strawberries, cherries, red peppers, peaches, nectarines, zucchini, eggplant, blueberries, plums, figs, oh, my!!
