I am just getting going and glad I stumbled upon sparkpeople today, I used to be a member a couple of years ago but stopped visiting. Finally admitted to myself I was being very lazy, I have an 11 month old and both my partner and I work full time. Told myself fitting in exercise was too hard and I was too tired, not exercising meant i wasn't really paying much attention to what I ate, telling myself I'll start tomorrow, next week, next month! So enough is enough, on Sunday (just a coincidence it was 1st of month) I started to pay attention to what I was eating and only eating when I was hungry and stopping when I was full. I also started working out, my goal is to work out 10 minutes in the morning and ten minutes in the evening at least 5 days a week. So far so good.
Feeling really tired today as between a teething baby and excitable dogs (we have a cat staying with us temporarily) I only got about 3-4 hours sleep. So I know I will need to make an extra effort tonight to make myself do my 10 minutes (I didn't do it this morning but no beating myself up, life goes on and I will not use it as an excuse not take the evening off!), so after work going to have a nap and then crack on with the evening and do some yoga to get rid of the achy tired feeling in my bones.
