THE TRICKY THING about last night's "body sculpting" class is that the instructor seemed like a really, really "nice" guy. Dude didn't "bark" or anything! How deceptive.
That was my first time in that class. I knew it was hard, but knowing and doing aren't exactly the same, are they?!! As I got into the studio, another, veteran class member warned
me. "This is a tough class." O-K... Forewarned is forearmed??
Everybody was organising her or his workout space. I copied them:
STEP. I used 2 layered risers (instead of 3).
Body bars. One heavier, and one lighter.
Dumbbells. 2 sets- heavier and lighter.
Once we started, the sweat poured. For 60 minutes it never stopped.
This morning I'm feeling a bit better, rested, yet my butt is SORE. I want to to know which muscles these are! Also somewhere in my abs. And my triceps. Etc.
I'm figuring the sore glutes are from both the weighted leg lifts and the body bar pulls while standing on the bosu. I WAS THE ONLY PERSON who did it on an INVERTED bosu!
This was after instructor said he figured no one could do it that way.
At the end of class, instructor high-five'ed me. But my butt is still sore. (How soon am I going back?)
