My family likes to eat at Golden Corral. With 2 growing boys and a husband who likes the words "all you can eat steak" we go there a couple times a month. So here I am thinking that if I go, I'm going to mess up everything I just started. NOT SO!!!! I started with a salad of mixed greens and a small half full bowl of chili. so far so good, then I had the steak, some fried popcorn shrimp, and half my plate was broccoli and cauliflower. I stayed away from my downfalls (corn bread and mashed potatoes) and skipped the desert...haha.. I was actually too full to even look at the desert buffet. I drank a lot of water with my dinner and kept it under 600 calories! By remembering my goal I was able to watch what I ate..going to a buffet wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
