Breakfast (and lunch!) - Sweet potato quesadillas, coffee
The fiance (In my head, its said like Beyonce :)) and I went out for a breakfast date this morning to our favorite diner. So goooddd!
Afternoon snack - greek yogurt with granola, trail mix, watermelon popsicle
Dinner - kale & avocado salad, cesear salad, baked chicken (from Whole Foods)
Exercise - 60 minute walk/run with my Dude (mostly walking because it's so darn hot out!)
It's been really good to think about my meals for the week and track them much more carefully. I notice just how much I want to stray from clean eating in terms of treats, and just how many treats I want to have during the week. Right now, as my diet stands, I'm definitely eating clean maybe 60-70% of the time. I'd like to get that number up to 80 or 90% with 20-10% of treats during my day/week.
Tomorrow we're heading to my Dude's aunt's house for dinner and I always get slightly nervous when we eat there. They're the kind of people who think vegetables are best served under a layer of cream of mushroom soup and that the best fruits are peaches from the can covered in syrup! I love them, but we have major differences in food preference. I'm going to eat something healthy at home and then have some protein when we're at his aunt's house.
