... to treadmill users/ owners.

I was advised to do the following workout to increase cardiac endurance. I dare anybody reading this to give it a shot and then come back and brag that you did it. It's really very do-able (only the last 5 minutes are brutal, but you can slow it down to make it better).

On the treadmill:

- 5 min = 5.5 speed
- 5 min = 6.3 speed (should be 6.5-7)
- 5 min = 2.7 speed incline 6% backwards
- 5 min = 2.0 speed incline 0% sidestep (each side = should be 2 min, but I screwed up and did 5min)
- 5 min = 5.3 speed incline 12% (the killer :-)

My totals by treadmill was:
30 min
1.94 distance (miles??)
244.7 Cal (but I didn't enter my weight or age, so who knows?)

Supposedly one should repeat this workout 2-3 times in a row, but I really didn't have that much time on hand.

Sounds like something off the Biggest Loser. I need to get my treadmill into the house. DH found it at Bargain Basement (AKA the dump), and it works.

I'd do my own thing. Too many suggestions from others who think they know

Wow, this is a challenge. I have never gone over 3.5mph due to problems with my legs.
    Good luck to you.
