Working Long Hours at Month End

Due to our job deadlines, we work the first and second days of the month until 9 PM. 13 entire hours!!!

And of course I didn't pack my food for today, so trying to work around what is available here at the office.

Instant oatmeal came out to 320 calories this morning. Subway 6" contained 1060 grams of sodium and now for dinner Caesar salad and personal pan pizza has taken me over my calorie intake by almost 200 calories!

Lesson to self, must prepare meals ahead of time and no excuses!!!

    Thanks for the encouraging words. I didn't look at it like that!!!

I also have been trying to have my daily meals planned out to avoid fast food! Prior to this year, I would eat out at least 3 -4 days a week. Definitely know about the saved $$$$.

    Girl, life finds a way to interfere with our plans. Under your circumstance, you did very well (at least you did eat a serving of veggies - salad). Like you've already stated, you'll be better prepared for next month. I also have begun packing my lunch and not only am I eating healthier, I'm saving $$$ emoticon

    Give yourself the credit you deserve. Despite the fact that you didn't prepare your meal, you only went over 200 calories. You actually did quite well. Think about the positive...think of some of the other choices you could have made and would have made in the past. I'm bet you've come a long way baby! emoticon emoticon
