I am now living in almost constant back pain but I still manage to get on with life. All of my fitness minutes now are from walking. It doesn't cause undue strain on my back and in some cases eases the muscle tightness. I thank God each day that He gives me the strength to do what is necessary and to live with the pain. One of my favorite inspirational quotes is, "I will neither murmur nor repine at what the Lord's providence may permit, because Faith can trust Him, come what may".
I am now vegan. I met that goal on June 28th, 2 days before the date set for the goal. I eat a lot of raw veggies and fruit and have learned to remake my recipes from my carnivore days. Vegan websites are good for learning how to make "meat" from scratch so that when DH grills I have vegan rib-lets, sausage or burgers to grill too. I have also discovered that fruit ka-bobs are great on the grill.
I am also 8 pounds under my goal weight. I have been loosing by between 1/2 - 1 pound a week for 3 months now. I have lost 3 sizes in clothes and have more energy than I have had in years.
