So another month has zipped by, and I just can't believe it. I have been slacking lately, just trying to get my priorities straight in life, and I am just ready for a new start. I've got so much on my mind, and a never-ending list of things to do - HOWEVER - one thing remains stagnant: the want/need to lose weight.
It never goes away, so why do I keep slacking off and forgetting about it? Why am I putting it off? Laziness. AND it's just so darn hard. But, once again, I'm in a routine, and I will try my best to stick with it. I have been going to the gym at 5AM (I actually stuck to this for MORE than a 2 day streak lol). It's actually getting easier to wake up so early, and I find myself not needing the alarm. AWESOME. I say that now, when it gets dark in the morning.. I highly doubt it will be as easy.
So, my July goals:
Stick to going to the gym before work, at least 3 days a week. Also, go on the weekends. So, 5 days total gym time.
Stay within my calorie ranges, and eat breakfast.
Do more outside activities after work and stop plopping on the couch after being defeated from gyming and working all day. I can do this!
Lose 8lbs. That's 2 per week, I can manage. I'd take 5 too, but I am aiming high :)
Add more SparkPeople to my routine. I track food and fitness, etc.. but I love being out there in the communities and message boards.
I think that's it for now. Hope all my Sparkfriends are doing alright!!
