Summer Heat

I'm having a hard time. Since May I haven't been scheduled to work until 11, and with summer vacation for the kids, we've been sleeping in and staying up late. It hasn't been good for us. My energy has been nil, and I have been eating... crap food. I need to get my schedule adjusted, but it isn't easy knowing that the nights are going to get louder and louder for awhile. (It'll ease up after this week)

Part of the problem is that of a night I'm not eager to be active, and because I haven't been that active, I'm not that tired. Not being tired, it's hard to go to sleep, and the cycle continues.

Blah blah I hate the heat blah blah.

    Wow. GTKARLA, it must seem like you have two days for every one! I don't think that would work for me. I do need to wake up earlier so I can have an opportunity to be active (even the evenings it's still over 95 outside). It was easier when I worked earlier because then I would have a longer block of time with the kiddos to do something together, rather than a smidgeon here and there. Oh well, I just gotta do what I gotta do.

    How about early mornings? Even tho I work evenings. I get up super early (5am) even tho i`m in a sleepy stupor go out and do my run, come back and shower and go back to bed for a few hours!
