Streaking to Success

I joined this team awhile back, but I haven't been involved with any of my teams for awhile. I'm noticing a difference in NOT being connected and my success [or lack thereof], so I've decided to start being more involved.

Well, I joined this team's challege of a streak where you stay within your calorie range, do some cardio every day, drink your water, and eat at least 5 fruits/veggies.

I'm on day 4 and have stayed within range, walked 3 miles daily, drank my water, and ate lots of fruits/veggies.

I'm pretty thrilled with my motivation--and my desire to NOT have to post that I went over my calories or didn't exercise. It's been good at keeping me accountable.

On another note, I had THE best salad tonight!

I took a bed of salad greens, added fresh spinach.

Then I sauteed mushrooms, onion, red/orange/yellow pepper in the skillet.

While that was cooking I cut up 2 campari tomatoes and added to my salad greens

Then I took 2.5 oz. of rotisserie chicken and made a salad dressing with smashed up avocado, fage 0% total greek yogurt and ranch powder with a tad of chili sauce. SO, SO yummy!

So I added the sauteed veggies and the salad dressing and had ONE GOURMET salad! I ate every bit! Then for dessert I took 30 grams of my homemade hot fudge Larabars and added a serving of lite whipped cream! YUMMY!

My salad PLUS the dessert came to 451 calories, 36 carbs, 24 grams of fat and 35 grams of protein. I was SO HUNGRY--it tasted especially good! I can't imagine life without salads! emoticon
