I have my 6 week postpartum check up tomorrow and will find out if I can start exercising or if I should wait 2 more weeks since I had a c-section. I am not gonna lie I am ready to go ahead and get started with a routine because the weight is coming off pretty easy this time probably due to the diet changes I made.
Speaking of which, I am seriously considering going back to being a vegetarian/vegan. Or at the very least only eating meat products once or twice a week and eating raw fruits and veggies and grains/beans the rest of the time. I felt a lot better when I was a vegetarian. My family is definitely switching over to all organic foods. WE are all going to be more mindful of our foods.
So today I weigh 182.4. That is almost 10 lbs lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight! Not to mention I never even got that low after my last baby who was born in October of 2010. After her the lowest I got was 186.6 , then I gained 15 lbs, and only lost 9-10 lbs of that gain before getting pregnant again.
The lowest I have ever weighed since having babies and using this site was 162 lbs. This was after my 4th baby and before getting married again. So for now my eye is on that number short term. That is a 20 lb loss from where I am right now and half of my overall goal.
I have to say I can't wait to Zumba again
