Can you afford Organic?

Saturday, June 30, 2012

Honestly, I'm tired of people saying they can't afford healthier foods. If one eats the proper foods, then less food is needed. Also, if people are eating the healthier foods, there are less health problems, if any at all. Thereby also saving money. There's less trash and that helps the earth. If you compost, that's even better.

As for price, what are your priorities? How much time and money are you spending on your hobbies? TV? Movies? Music? Computer? etc. You get the point

Yep, Tatter said it--we can afford what we want to. I will never be a vegetarian--I love meat; however, I can choose to buy better, leaner cuts of meat and stretch them to go farther, thereby eating less of it. I can grow some of my own veggies, even if it's on a pot on my porch--there's always a way to do what we really want to do.
