Steve is taking the boys to BoyScout Camp for a week, and I am taking a week off from work for a "staycation." I have big plans for mother and daughter week. We saw the movie last night, I was disappointed. The guy was hot, and I guess that was the point, but the dancing could have been better. On the health front, I had a diet soda, and no other treats. For this week; I plan to treadmill for 3.5 miles a day, and do some strength training videos at home when no one else is around. I have two projects in mind. First, I am going to put together a collage of empowering sayings and pictures from all the magazines I have lying around. I haven't decided where I am going to put it. Maybe in the bathroom by the scale. My second project is a 3 day diet " detox" plan that I read about in prevention. It will fit my calorie range, and it will be fun to follow their menu. There will be little cooking, since Hannah won't eat much and is very self sufficient. I have a doctor's appointment Monday, lunch plans with my Bestie, and Hannah has a dentist appointment Thursday. And we have the BIG summer blow out BBQ on the fourth. I plan to grill chicken, make a Greek dip, a chicken cabbage salad, and drink fresca margaritas! I have told people that they are free to bring their own meat, grub, and drinks. The city fire works ( which are set off about 10 yards away from my porch) is free entertainment. Thursday, I am going to the city aquatic center with my friend. I will try their water class for fun, or maybe water walking. I don't think my fit bit is water proof, so it will be a day of rest. Friday, and Saturday are unplanned treasures of time! If I am into a new decade of weight, I will schedule a massage. Sunday will be laundry, scurrying around to go back to work. Here's to a week of NO EMAIL NO ASSIGNMENTS NO DEADLINES.
