It's probably going to end up being nothing; this isn't the first time something like this has happened. But some good prayers won't hurt.
My husband's been complaining of chest pain and numbness in his left arm and both hands for about a day and a half now. This morning, his blood pressure spiked quite a bit (he checked it at CVS) and I finally managed to convince him to go to the urgent care office to be checked out.
They're transferring him to the main hospital, because they're not equipped to deal with heart attacks there.
I honestly think it's primarily heat-related. It's been very hot in here lately. And he's on a lot of meds that could be messing with his blood pressure.
They've got his blood pressure down, but he's still going to be transferred. I have no idea when he'll be home. They haven't admitted him yet, he's still in the emergency care rigamarole.
I'm sure everything will be fine (again, this isn't the first time something like this has happened) but I could use some prayers, good thoughts, whatever you want to send our way.
