But really, isn't every day Friday when you're a teacher on summer vacation? :) I do, however, get to celebrate that it's Friday and I get a weekend with my love. That's good stuff right there.
It's been a good day. I haven't really eaten a lot - wasn't too hungry, and even managed to have breakfast for dinner and still haven't hit my minimum. Score! Now, when I do breakfast around here, it's eggs, bacon AND sausage, hash browns, toast, the works. My hubby likes breakfast and loves a big breakfast. Tonight I made sure to measure out everything, made my omelet with lots of veggies, a little cheese, one whole egg and one white, and only had a little of each of the meats. Go me! And I'm rather full and don't feel the least bit like I deprived myself. THIS is when I know I'm doing right for me - I'm not depriving myself of any food groups, I can enjoy small bits of foods that I really like (because I could seriously go eat the entire plate of bacon myself and not look back!), and I feel good. It doesn't hurt that I burned almost 450 calories on my run today - I pushed hard. I'm already planning on some raspberries and lite cool whip for dessert, and I'll be good to go for the day.
Hoping to get my brother to take both kids tomorrow night so the boy and I can go out. That would be awesome!
