One week levels on the rise

This week ended much better than it started. As I've adjusted to waking up at 6am to go to the gym every morning, I'm feeling more and more energectic and powering through my workouts at an intensity level I've never experienced. While I've only lost 1 lb this past week, my clothes are fitting much looser and I'm feeling really great overall. Both very good signs that I'm going in the right direction.

I've entered into the Max phase on my 24 day Advocare challenge. The protein shake in the morning and supplements have been great to have. The spark energy drink is also a great way to get me through the day.

Today at the gym, I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 5 sets of crunches. I can already see a major difference in my mid-section. This is fantastic and I can't wait to get even closer to my goal. My first milestone will be to crack into the 100lb range. Right now, that's 12 lbs from now.

I've also been looking at road races to enter. Walt Disney World puts on some great events but we will have to see if the budget will allow something like that. My birthday is in 2 weeks and I'm really excited to see what my body will look like 2 weeks from now.

The baby is getting much better and has slept well the last couple nights. I'm so grateful to see him well. I also get to pickup my daughter this weekend from her dad's and spent time with her. I've missed her alot these past two weeks. I'm hoping that she will be a gym buddy for me!
