So, the time has come to quit procrastinating and set my goals. When I started thinking about making changes I took sometime to look at my past. I set goals and don't reach them. Why? I get distracted. Therefore, I have decided to make my short term goals for one week. My long term goals will be one month. Figure I can stay focused for one week, maybe.
I decided to start on 6/29/12 because in six months I will be 49 and I needed to lose 49 pounds. However, I weighed this morning and just with very small changes this week I have lost weight. So the 49 by 49 is now 47 by 49.
The goals are not all weight related because I have other areas of my life that need improvement.
Short Term Goals for 6/29/12 through 7/5/12:
1. Walk at least 30 minutes 4 times.
2. Eat five serving of fruit and veggies per day.
3. Keep my checkbook balanced.
4. Organize one closet.
To help me stay focused these will be posted on my fridge. Get over it everybodies.
The hardest two will be the checkbook and closet.
