Take It On the Run

Always a favorite REO Speedwagon song. Kevin Cronin sings it from the hair.
It is late and it has been a crazy day! Although, it was pretty awesome. I worked out this morning, and then talked my husband into going to the farmer's market with me, yay! That was nice. I caught the end of strawberry season and the beginning of raspberry season. We had keilbasa and chips from a local vendor and then some cookies. One of the stands makes a really good gluten-free cookie I like to get.
After that, we went to the slightly less local, but way better run DMV to finally switch our driver's licenses to the new state. Considering we moved last August, we waited a long time to get that done. However, it was really annoying and it will take two weeks to get our licenses. Blech.
Tonight, we went to a bad movie and (good) game night, which was totally fun. We watched Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I also chatted with someone about the strategic gaming club at my school and using games as outreach. We have a plan for fall and it is going to be awesome.
Okay, so the good stuff.
Exercise: is happening. I want to add more daily bodyweight stuff again to get my push-ups and inverted rows and abs improved. Running a 5K in 9 days now! I rocked my last run so I feel good about it.
Food: well, today was kind of off, but I don't think it was too off. Tomorrow and this weekend should be normal, so I'm not too concerned.
Sleep: took a bypass briefly while I fought off a cold. I won. However, I'm a little behind in the to-do list since I slept 3-4 extra hours in the last two days. I feel great now, though, so I'll be playing catch up tomorrow.
Other: Things are good. Recent specifics include playing a game of Go (a complex strategy game popular in Asia), planning a post 5K party for next weekend, and rocking out karaoke while drinking a mint julep made with my own mint.
So, it's quite lare, but I've blogged, so, goal accomplished! Time to run, or actually, sleep.
Onward and upward!
