I finally decided to take my neighbor up on his offer to use their pool;he has asked me to over many times and I always refused till the crazy heat today kicked in! I ended up doing some sun worshiping and swimming. Well, actually I can't swim, but I did bounce around and run around the pool. I think I tried every aerobic exercise that I could think of. I actually felt the burn in my legs and got my heart rate up ! Maybe someday I can learn how to actually swim . I admit that I am a bit embarrassed by being 36 years old and not able to swim. I had a great time today, and I will go back along as long as my neighbors approve. I certainly have the greatest neighbors ever! Did I mention, that he is also fixing my car for me at a discount price? Great ol' country boys, gotta love um'. I did manage to get a little blistered out in the sun. I tried to put on sunscreen, but the bottle was just not working- not good. Luckily, I don't burn easily, so this isn't a huge problem.
Here are some pics that I took poolside.
Almost two hours later- lobestery
Having a great swim (Ah, float...)
Cuddled up in "Lion King" beach towel.
Great day, I did 200 squats, lunges, swimming, and stayed in calorie range. Speaking of calorie range, my husband and I planned on CiCi's but it was so packed that we went to Bellacino's Pizza. When they brought The pizza out, and I saw the grease and cheese, I could feel panic set in. I knew that I would be eating it, and I didn't know what to do. I did end up eating it, and yes it was GOOD! I can recall once, that my hubby and I ate this whole 16 in Pizza in one sitting (NOT PROUD), but we made sure to get a take out box today. I checked the nutrition facts on the website, and it actually wasn't THAT bad. I still managed to stay in my calorie range. Thank goodness for portion, and self control!
You can tell by the pic, this isn't a place with many healthy options. Only a few salads really.
