WOW, I didn't realize until just now how long it has been since I posted a blog. What brought me here today is that my better half has just been diagnosed with high blood pressure and I wanted to get some diet and exercise tips that I can pass along (and follow myself). In addition to the HBP, he also has high cholesterol that we have 3 months to get under control before they put him on medication. Neither one of us wants more medicines in the cabinet, so we are going to try it the old-fashioned way.
I want him around for many years to come (I would like to get married one day), so it will be mostly up to me to make sure he sticks to the diet and exercise. And I am OK with that.
If you are reading this and have any words of wisdom, please share!! I am like a sponge right now and trying to soak in as much information as possible.
