The procrastinator falls

Thursday, June 28, 2012

Alright, I don't deny it. I'm a procrastinator. As mentioned in Sunday's blog, I finally bought my bedding plants on Sunday. You see, the 3rd weekend of May is standard planting time in this part of the country, so buying my plants on the 4th Sunday of June definitely qualifies as procrastination. Today I put the plants in the garden. Don't you think leaving the poor little bedding plants sitting on the steps for 3 days also counts as procrastination?

But they're in place now, watered, and looking almost recovered from their enforced growing hiatus. Don't know *why* I put this stuff off. I really do enjoy puttering in the dirt . . .

Mind you, this latest procrastination did have something to do with rain all Sunday afternoon followed by my having two days away from home : )

Funny, one person's procrastination is another's timeliness :)

Enjoy your graden and flowers!

Sounds like some procrastination and some business.
If we planted now the plants would be dried up within a week. In Houston we've been having some 100 degree days, early and hot even for us.
Fortunately we are wetter than we were this time last year.
