Sooo...I went to bed early last night (9:00 PM) thinking that it would be easier for me to get up early and exercise before getting ready for work. No such luck. I must've hit that snooze button for well over an hour before I even realized it. Needless to say, no time to get a workout in before work this morning. Again, I brought the sneakers to work with me; however, it is 2:20PM and I still haven't had the opportunity to sneak out for my walk. Ugh! At this rate, I will have to do it when I get home tonight before heading to the "Y" to sign up for a family membership. Hubby is looking to get active; but, he will need a pool due to medical disability issues that limit what he can do.
I brought a nice blended juice drink to work this morning: watermelon, frozen strawberries, and bananas. It was not bad; but, I need to bump up the taste just a little bit more.
Lunch today was, yes you guessed it, another salad. This one had spinach, tomato, sweet red peppers, cucumbers, walnuts, and dried blueberries. It was very yummy. I followed that with a fruit salad for dessert (watermelon, banana, and strawberries).
I'm thinking stuffed portabello mushrooms for dinner tonight. I usually stuff them with roasted red and green peppers, tomato, spinach, morning star turkey crumble, feta cheese and a little mozzarella on top. YUMMY!
All in all, it's a good day!
