It has been 12 days since my last run and even longer since I was last at the pool. I have been laid low by a cold and a cough and feeling pretty yuk. I'm still not 100% but I'm desperate to get my running shoes on again. After work tomorrow I'm going to try a slow 5K or so.
A friend at work has signed up for a HM in Sept and a full marathon next May and is full of enthusiasm for her training. All we talk about lately is running, it's great! It's really making me wonder if I could actually do a HM myself. I'm just not sure my feet are up to it.
I'm trying to get my eating back on track after gaining 5 pounds over the last month or so, I'm determined to move my ticker in the right direction from here! Some of my trousers are starting to feel a little too snug and I have a dress to fit into for daughters graduation next month! I'm sure the weather is to blame, it's been cool (even cold) and wet for most of June so summer salads have not been so appealing.
I hope my next update will have some progress to report!
