Summer Challenge Week 1

Yesterday I completed Week 1 of the Summer Challenge and I feel so good!! It is a great feeling to see that scale drop from week to week. I will confess, I did skip out on exercising 2 days this week but my body felt like it needed rest. It seems like my body is able to grow stronger and I think resting is something your body needs. I also did really well with my food intake and tracking everything I eat. Even when I do splurge, (which I have only had one bad meal all week...improvement) I track it all. It helps me see how many calories I eat weekly which makes a big difference. It is not just about day to day calorie intake.

I feel like I have a new outlook on how I eat now. I am not sure what has triggered it but I almost feel like a different person. Hope it sticks around for a while...well forever!

Next week's challenge is water intake and interval training! I will post my progress again next week :)
