What am I Doing?

Its actually pretty good

My day starts with Spark mail and updating my "Other Goals" from the day before
I do weigh every day because I have learned that if I don't weigh I lose control quickly
I plan my meals for the day - I am making one or two new healthy recipes a week
I go to the gym for aerobic and strength workouts on Mon Wed and Friday
I walk with a different friend every Tue and Th
I have been resting from exercise on the weekend since we can't go to the cabin
I might take a walk or a bike ride but it isn't hard exercise
I use a pedometer and walk 10,000 steps most days
I keep my calories between 1500 and 1700 most days ( I should probably keep it closer to 1500)
I drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day
I check the nutrition pie chart to make sure I am eating a balanced diet
I keep my weight within a 5 pound range (today I am smack dab in the middle of the range)

This has kept me at a 90 pound loss for over a year despite slips, stresses and fears.

I am proud of myself and need to have more confidence in my ability to live this healthy lifestyle. I have done it and am doing it.

I have been with Spark for 3 years as of June 17th and need to celebrate my healthy lifestyle.

No chafed legs
No "belly rash" (Very little belly overhang! lol)
Able to climb stairs w/o stopping
Can run short distances when needed
No depression or depression meds for 2 years
No high blood pressure or antihypertensive meds for 2 years
Bike, swim, walk, hike every week because I love it
Learning to cook while I learn healthy eating
Have spread the Spark to several friends

I am a success and I am proud!

Thank you, Spark friends, who have reminded me of what is important as I go thru a stressful period in my life.
