Why blog?

I've been thinking I should get back to blogging for awhile now, but for some reason just have not been doing it.

I looked back at past blogs I have written and ask myself why I stopped. I really don't know.

OK, I know some of it. I felt too pressed for time. I thought I was spending too much time on the computer. Logging was also a problem. I felt that logging was taking time that I could be exercising or doing other things.

I think the logging here as improved in the past year. With the new setup it does not take nearly as long.

I am getting back to logging my food and exercise. Logging is good because it keeps me accountable. More than that, it teaches me things. I love the reports showing me that I need more calcium or whatever. Logging helps me make healthy choices.

I think blogging does too, so I think it is time to start blogging again.

    I noticed that blogging always came last in all the sparking I do each morning. SO I viwed to blog every day during 2012. This goal I have not met, think I have missed about four days or so, but I stick to the goal anyway - 90 procent will not be bad and a good practice for me that is a all-or-nothing-person...good luck!

    blogging or journaling can help just recap things in your mind....of course, blogging puts it out there for others to see & comment on-I journal most days & blog maybe once or twice a month, but I enjoy reading others'!!! emoticon

    Good for you! It can be very helpful, especially if your using it for accountability. I need to use it for that reason, and I like to keep track of my goals and mini-challenges this way, but when I go to write one, sometimes it seems silly. It's really just stuff to myself, not entertaining or meaningful to anybody else. But I guess that what it's for anyhow!
