I haven't blogged in a long while. I still haven't reached my goal, but have been maintaing the same 150-153lbs that I've been holding on to for the past 4 years. So...all the talk and no results makes Sharita a very frustrated woman. I know where I want to be, and I know what I must do to get there..so, the plan is to just do it! Easier said than done, right?? RIGHT!!
I've counted the weeks and did the math - the perfect date to work on reaching my goal is my birthday, which is Oct. 31. This gives me 18.5 weeks from today to get it tight and get it right and reach my goal of 130lbs...that's a little over 20 that I need to lose to get there. Not much to lose in 18.5 weeks, right?? RIGHT!!
Ok, so here is the plan:
1- Workout AT LEAST 5 Days per week.
3 days of 1 hour of cardio; 2 days of at least 30 minutes strength with 30 minutes of cardio.
2- Blog my workout plan on SP each Monday morning for the week and check off whether or not I accomplished my workout plans/goal.
3- Eat NO MORE than 1400 calories per day. I will track my calories each and every day, even if I slipped and ate something bad...it will help me stay accountable for the next day.
4- Drink half of my body weight in water each day, no less than 75 oz per day.
5- Pray each morning/throughout the day and ask God for strength to feed my body (his temple) with foods that are nourishing for my body and mind.
6- DON'T GIVE UP!!
Ok yall, I know i've written blogs previously basically saying the exact same thing, but this time it's a different. Plus, I've made some other changes in my life which will help me be more successful in my new lifestyle and toward reaching my goals.
I deserve it!! I know I do! I just have to act on it, and work hard at it DAILY!!
