I had a mental challenge. I have led myself to believe that if I "blow it" over the weekend, I won't ever stick to a diet plan. My goal last week was to make it through the weekend following my eating plan and exercise plan. I DID IT! I don't know exactly how because I cooked all day yesterday. I started with breakfast for my family, crepes special ordered by my daughter. I only had one with s/f syrup, a banana sliced on it and a soy breakfast sausage. Kept the calories low and got in my serving of protein and fruit. The rest of the day was in the kitchen preparing for the week. I literally finished up at 6 pm. It was fun! I felt strong and severely limited my tasting.
I know now that I will have a great week. I have a trip coming up this weekend to my best friends house. We eat all the time when we visit her. I will plan my menu ahead of time and pack my cooler. I got this!! Really, if I can keep it up at this pace, I will be at goal in 4 weeks. Here's to day 3 of first week!
