Trip over. Back home. A couple of reflections from trip-- 1. plan and prepare but always be open to adjustment. (You might miss out on something wonderful if you don't) 2. Be aware of your weight challenges and do what you can when on a trip but don't let it rule the trip. 3. Get your exercise where you can get it (this might mean walking on the riverfront of the Mississippi River instead of the hotel exercise room!)
I didn't get to the exercise room once like planned and I didn't use the exercise band like planned but I did walk A LOT. I also watched portion size and since the Starbucks was in our hotel (sigh) I did only get non fat, sugar free. All and all it was a great trip and Yes I did get a beignet and cafe au lait. Come on folks, it was N'Awlins!
