I just received a phone call from my baby brother telling me that he spent the day in Cleveland at the Metropolitan Hospital Burn Center. Our nephew Shannon was badly burned yesterday and underwent more than six hours of surgery today. He was helping burn some brush or something and threw a pallet on the fire. When he did, something exploded causing some very serious burns to his lungs, face, eyes, etc. He said it smelled like WD40. My brother just left the hospital after talking to the doctor who said Shannon will probably never see again.
I am asking for prayers for Shannon. He could really use them. I was going to post a picture but knew that once you saw it you wouldn't be able to get it out of your mind. I am counting blessings that Shannon wasn't burned any worse. He may not feel the same way. Only God knows what is in store for Shannon.
