In the midst of a few blisters and some heel pain, I am still walking and meeting my goal to lose 1-2 lbs a week. I'm staying within my calorie range. I'm trying to get over the pain by soaking my feet in Epsom salts, so I'm hoping that will help my heel pain to go away, at least. Don't know what I can do about the blisters until I can get some athletic socks or something. It's not my shoes, though. It's the way I walk. I walk on the insides of my feet and sometimes my feet turn in, but it's been like that since I was really small. I am trying to concentrate on keep my feet straight instead of turned-in. I am trying to concentrate on walking without it being on the inside of my feet or the outside of my feet, rather just right. Sometimes it is hard to concentrate because I'm also trying to concentrate on keeping the right form while pushing the stroller. I want to get a jogging stroller (though, I wouldn't be jogging for a long time to come still) so the handle is higher up than what I have. And it'd be easier to steer with one hand too because I believe with jogging strollers that the handle is one long bar instead of two separate handle-bars. I keep kicking the wheels on the stroller we have now. Either way, though, my baby loves going for our walks because she doesn't have to do any of the work and she can enjoy the scenery. I love her. And I love walking! And I'm so proud of myself for sticking to my goal.
