Before church today, I picked about 1 cup of raspberries and 2 pounds of rhubarb.

After church, I put the poison ivy on notice and attacked it with 2 gallons of RoundUp. I prefer organic gardening, but after several bad cases that put me on steroids, it's poison ivy or me. One of us has to go. I'm not leaving.

Then I had my fun -- planting a new flower bed with a climbing hydrangea, Japanese anemones, bear breeches, and impatiens. Now as I head to bed, a gentle rain is falling. Less watering for me to do tomorrow!
