Only 1 pound, but that 1 pound plus the other 24 pounds lost equals 25 lbs. Woo Hoo!!! My work's BMI goal for me is only 4 pounds away. Back in January, I mentally set a goal of reaching that weight by my birthday in July even though on my spark page I put September 30th. It is attainable, although I thought it was a stretch in January.
Now let's talk about those non scale related victories since January.
1. I can wear a size 12. January I was starting to purchase size 16s and looking at clothes in the plus size department.
2. I can do cardio for 30-45 minutes and feel good. January I had to keep taking breaks in order to get 30 minutes of cardio completed.
3. I'm becoming a more productive person at home & at work. Goal setting and tracking for my health has carried over to other parts of my life. When you hold yourself accountable, it seems you get more done. Make no excuses - just take action and follow through!
4. I didn't go to the refrigerator or the pantry and binge after my Air Force son told me he would be deploying to the Middle East later this year. I becoming better at not being an emotional eater. This will be a huge challenge for me now through the end of his deployment. I am grateful he is USAF versus in the Marines or Army. I pray for all of our armed servicemen & women as well as their families daily. God Bless the USA!!!
I'm anxiously waiting for the sun to rise a little bit more & then it's off for a run where I will think out my goals for this week.
