As of this morning I am 100g away from the 10kg lost point. 100 freaking grams. That is nothing! Come on, scale, you can do it! Just another 100g (less than quarter of a pound!) and I can take pictures and do a happy dance and generally brag my butt off.
I am feeling well enough to take my 9.9kg lost butt to the gym today. Just a quick weights session. It usually takes me less than 30 minutes, and I promise I will stop if I feel sick.
Sometime next week I will get my new weights program, and I am looking forward to that! I love a new challenge, and I love mixing things up. My trainer is going to write my new program on my old card and said I can do 2 new/1 old to help me keep things fresh. Sounds like a good plan, since I get board so quickly.
3 cheers for smoothies! I have started getting back into them and it is awesome. I get 1 serving of veggies (1/2c spinach) and 2 servings of fruit (1c frozen berries) at breakfast, without even trying! I stopped drinking smoothies because they never filled me up, and I was always hungry an hour later. I have started adding Greek yogurt to my smoothies and I am finding that they hold me over a lot longer than they used to. Add a piece of toast on the side and I have a balanced and filling breakfast!
Other than going to the gym my only plans for the day include my work laptop. I have a couple of post tests to write up (which is really hard!) and I have to organise my week. My last week of term 2! WOW this is going fast. Before I know it, it will be the end of the year and I'll be saying goodbye to my monsters.
And that is the end of my thought train.
