My little bat just flew over the halfway mark this morning. Even better, my body could follow him without creaking and aching as it rose out of bed.
In other words, I'm halfway to my goal in terms of weight loss. And I'm about halfway to my fitness goals! I'll give myself that credit - chances are, I'm really about 25% of the way to the activities I want to be able to do, but my body is at least now at a point where I can move and be active with my kids. Running and ice skating just may come.
Or at least, I'll get to a point where it's a CHOICE not to do those things, not a FACT that my body can't.
