Just a quick hello! Life has been super hectic lately and I haven't been around SP much lately but things should slow down soon...at least somewhat!
I have two weeks left of work before I take 8-9ish weeks of time off work over the summer. This summer is about trying to refocus in my life and one of the big things is to work on me, physically and mentally! It will also be a time to slow down with my children, spend time with family and friends and enjoy what the warm weather brings.
I took the big step about a month ago of starting some medication and this has been helping with some of the negative issues I was experiencing in terms of my mental health but I know there are changes I need to make! At least I am starting to feel like the "old me" is coming back. I really did have an actress happy face on much of the time but this was becoming impossible to carry on with.
Admittedly I haven't been very good with fitness and nutrition the past bit but at least seem to be maintaining. I just need to push through the next few weeks at work, finish up some school council tasks and carry on! I made the decision to play soccer again in an O35 women's league and my first game is tonight!
Enough making excuses, it's time to get this body moving again! Thankfully I was able to round up all my equipment this morning before work and I will run some errands after work so won't get comfortable at home and not want to go back out.
So, here's to priority changes and regaining balance!
