We drove up to see Mount St Helen's but it was shrouded in heavy clouds. It was a pretty drive though and they had a neat movie at the Johnson Observatory. They had snow (dirty but cold) there and we hadn't brought coats.



The bridge at this location was destroyed by the eruption so this is a relatively new bridge.



We stopped at a Restaurant at mile marker #19 and had chicken and dumplings (not gluten free so I paid for it later). This is the view of the river from the patio were we ate.
