It's impossible to do Zumba quietly, right?

Well, our Zumba class had to move venue about a month ago, and we've been sharing a gym space with a trampolining class. They have about 1/4 of the hall, we have the rest, and it's only cordoned off with safety netting, so no soundproofing.

Last night, we were interrupted twice by trampoline people complaining about the noise we were making. After the 2nd complaint, we stopped "yaying" and "aye-ing", but it really put a damper on what's usually a high energy, fun class.

Then at the end, 3 gym attendants went over to talk to the instructors, no doubt with the same issue.

On the way out, I spoke to the receptionist and asked her to put in a counter-complaint that our class hadn't been able to enjoy our activity.

Who knows what the outcome will be!

Wow, I can't imagine what the space organizers were thinking putting a Zumba class near anything else. Please remind the powers that be that people continue to participate in the exercise and activity that they enjoy. Part of Zumba enjoyment is letting go of all that wonderful energy you are creating.
