Hate the scale today

Thursday, June 21, 2012

Yes, I know that it's salt from food choices yesterday, because NO ONE puts that much weight on overnight, but it doesn't matter, I hate the scale today and am discouraged. So there.

I'll throw myself back into work, make better food choices, and forget about it.

don't let it discourage you too much, take on a attitude of showing the scale who is in charge, drink your water and keep with healthy choices and things will fall into place. I had a moment like this a few weeks ago when for no reason I gained 3 pounds in one week, but I kept with my habits and it all came off the next week. The scale discouraging me is also what lead me to weigh in once a week. You can do it, have a great day!

I feel your pain - I share your frustration - I hate the battle it causes me to have with my head when it says that the scale will never move again - it's HORRIBLE but it's an ugly deceiver and we must BELIEVE!!! It's all good and will all be great!

I can relate with not liking my scale. I make the mistake of weighing myself every morning -- and that can be a good thing/bad thing. Good when the scale cooperates/bad when it doesn't - lol! I'm looking forward to the day when the scale is my friend again!!

If I use soy sauce I can gain 2-3 lbs and what I hate most? It doesn't come off over night. GRRRRr

That happens sometimes. In the heat I can gain 2 lbs from one day to the next and loose it the following day. We all go off track sometimes too. You have a great attitude, it is great that you can move on.

Had to chuckle because I put something in my status today about wishing we had a scale that could actually measure ONLY our excess fat so the number we'd see would be clear.

Don't let it get you down! Drink that water and you'll be back in business.
