So today was one week since I last saw any progress with the scale. I've officially dubbed either Thursdays or Fridays my weigh-in days. Since I didn't want to wait until tomorrow, I went ahead and hopped on it today. The good news is that I didn't gain anything, but the bad news is that I didn't lose anything either.
So, I went back and looked at my numbers for the week, and I saw that I've been over on my calorie count almost every day. Since I saw results so quickly the first two weeks, I really let myself slide during week three. I also didn't get in the exercise that I want to get in each week and (get this!) didn't do my strength training either!
So... This week, I am going to step it up a notch so that, in seven days, I see some progress. I'm really excited that I didn't gain. So relieved about that. But I wanna see that number drop just a little bit more. Well, actually, if I'm honest... I wanna see it drop A LOT more, but I'll settle for a small drop for now. Honest.
What I'm going to do different this week:
I'm going to get in 5 servings of freggies EVERY day (yes, I'm still struggling with that)
I'm going to do my strength training 3 times a week
I'm going to get in my 90 minutes of exercise
I'm going to work harder to keep my calorie count a little lower
With making those changes, I hope to see some results. Gotta just get on it. I can do this!
