Sunday night we went out and got a gallon of milk and we got back with it and Scott said "It's an omen, the expiration date is 6/29." Sure enough on Monday afternoon we got a call from our Realtor saying "You wont believe this, they went back to the 29th!". Ahhhhh such a relief. This week we have been dealing with getting all our ducks in a row. Talking to the bank underwriter 3 times a day. The sellers realtor bought us a bottle of wine apologizing. I am not quite sure why she felt the need. But it was nice, we looked up the wine and she got it from Aldi haha. I love Aldi, I know a lot of ppl who have a stigma against aldi. I just thought it was funny. Aldi wine does seem pretty hit or miss.
Yesterday Scott had to do his first work trip, which was a 4 hr drive to Steelville to install and repair a companies computer and then come back. He is all stressed because he feels like he didn't finish and they made him leave at 4 when they were off closing down. But on the good side I got some cleaning done. I gutted out the bathroom and packed everything into boxes we didn't need. Plus I got to listen to my terrible dance music and have fun while I did it. Cleaning the house is so much more fun when no one is home. I got this weekend off to clean with Scott. Everything is back on plan!
I really hate this extreme heat. I can't run when it's too hot. I tried running yesterday at 8 am before work and UGHHHH like running on the sun. I have been running barefoot lately more so as a coping mechanism. When I am barefoot I tend to focus on the ground more and not focus on the heat. But if it's too hot out, the ground is way too hot to run barefoot. I am gonna run at lunch today, high is only 85, YEAH! and there might be rain YEAH YEAH YEAH!
Hey if anyone knows ppl in the Portland, OR area who could take on a dog, can you contact me? Or someone who knows someone! My friend has a 7 yr old dog who is no longer good with her 2 yr old and for everyone's safety she needs to find him a new home that includes no kids or pets. It's really breaking her heart to get rid of him since she had him before kids and marriage. The shelters are pretty full and she has no where to take him even if she has no choice. Just thought I would ask and see if anyone is out there.
