It was a muggy 92f degrees with a RealFeel temp of 98 today and I decided to do a short easy run just to see how uncomfortable it would be. I was thinking a mile out and back would about do it, but after a mile I thought I'd make it a 5K, and at the turn around point, I committed to a 10K.
That did get me soaking in sweat and I was only doing 13 minute miles. But when I stepped out of the shower and onto the scale I was 167 lbs. That is my lowest weight since I was seventeen years old.
I know that it's just water, but I think it will stick through my next weigh in. If I break the 160 lb. barrier, I will no longer be classified as overweight.

WooHoo! Good for you! I hope you tanked back up on the water, though. That's a hot day! And congratulations on reaching a goal!

I also pushed myself walking through similar heat today but luckily there was a nice breeze off the lake. Great progress for you! Best of luck with your program as you head into the 160's!!

Wow!! You really had a good run! I am not a runner and admire anyone who gets out there and zoom - goes for it. I am more of a walker (plodder) myself.

Anyway I am glad the heat the did not seem to affect you - remember to drink plenty of water!! Happy for your continued weight loss.

Best wishes on your journey to good health.
