FOR WOMEN, WEIGHT GAIN LEADS TO TERM, SMART A--

Wednesday, June 20, 2012

With time, women gain weight because we accumulate so much information and
wisdom in our heads that when there is no more room, it distributes out to the rest of our bodies. So we aren't heavy, we are enormously cultured, educated and happy.

Beginning today, when I look at my butt in the mirror I will think, Good grief, look how smart I am!

Must be where 'Smart Ass' came from!

Enjoy!

You know, there seriously COULD be a connection... We acquire knowledge and skill and wisdom by reading, talking to people, working on crafts, watching the news on TV, attending classes, surfing the 'net, etc. (That's not to say there aren't other, more active, hobbies; merely pointing out the number that are not as active.)

When we read, where are we most likely to be? Sitting. Television? Sitting. Classrooms? Libraries? Uh huh. Many jobs are in offices and involve desks and computers - more sitting. When you work on your quilts, are you standing at the sewing machine? (Not counting bending over as you cut the pieces, lol.) Yet putting your brain to work as you figure out the patterns and improve your skills is learning, ain't?

So yah. The fact that my behind can grow in direct proportion to the amount of time I spend sitting makes perfect sense. Gee, I feel smarter already, LOL!
