Hi Sparkies, I just felt like blogging today to stay on track and may get some support from my fellow sparkies. Today was a pretty good day food wise. I followed my meal plan with the addition of one egg roll (my co-worker bought it for me and I felt bad saying no to her.) We had cake at work but I turned my back on it and gave myself a tap on the back for resisting it (Besides it really looked good.)
Anyhow, I just didn't feel like working out. When I got home from work, I just felt like taking a shower and lying down lazily. Then, my inner voice said "Just do the first 15mins and then you can rest." Amazingly, I obeyed and not only did I obey, I did the whole 40mins of my workout video. I felt great about it. It's amazing what one's body can do once one's mind has already decided on it.
I'm happy because I'm slowly and steadily redeveloping my healthy habits. In addition to that, I'm also discovering some amazing recipes which are healthy. I know Sparkpeople.com has a whole bunch of recipes but to be honest, I had not taken advantage of it till now.
I'm going to push and continue like this till the end of the week. I have to go to Orlando during the weekend with some gfs and I hope I will smart food choices. The scale and I have our rendez-vous on Monday and I'll keep you posted.
