Well, this is really embarassing, but nothing on my page has really changed since I set it up in 2009. My goals are pretty much the same. My weight is the same, I look the same now (pretty much) as I did then. Very sad that in all this time I haven't made any changes in my lifestyle-setting myself up for lots of complications as I get older, heart disease, stroke, diabetes. . .my BMI is 29.5-I refuse to go any closer to 30 (30+ is "obese")

So, what am I going to do about it? I have a few things in the works. A week ago, I bought a Fitbit. I love this little device. I wear it all the time so I'm always aware of what I'm doing activity-wise. I haven't been using the available Fitbit sleep option so my sleep hours are included in my "sedentary" time, but Holy Smokes, the other day I had 16+hrs of time when I was "sedentary" and 0 time when I was "very active". Very cool little device, I highly recommend it:)

I'm also enrolling in a metabolic weight management program at work where I can learn more about nutrition and weight loss..and there will be folks helping me stay on track along the way.

So, one more time...wish me luck :)
